New Breakfast Side Dish: BAKON VODKA

26 05 2009

Bacon. It’s the All-American breakfast side dish. I personally have several packs on hand for any unexpected bacon emergencies. In fact, I love bacon so much that I keep a framed picture of bacon on my desk (it’s actually a really artistic shot I pulled from New York Magazine).

You can imagine my excitement when I learned of the new BAKON VODKA. Yes, bacon vodka. Though I haven’t tried it yet, I’m very intrigued. According to the company’s website, “Bakon Vodka is superior quality potato vodka with a savory bacon flavor. It’s clean, crisp, and delicious. This is the only vodka you’ll ever want to use to make a Bloody Mary, and it’s a complementary element of both sweet and savory drinks.”

If you’re not a fan of Bloody Mary drinks, there are plenty of other recipes on the site that are sure to quench your thirst.

If you’re not a drinker, but are also a fan of bacon like me, check out these additional bacon-inspired recipes from the Queen of Southern Cuisine, Ms. Paula Deen.
